The northernmost island in the Florida Keys, Key Largo is known for its laid-back vibe, crystal-clear waters, and easy access to John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park — a top spot for snorkeling, diving, and kayaking.
Tavernier:
Tucked between Key Largo and Islamorada, Tavernier offers a quiet, residential feel with beautiful ocean views and quick access to both family attractions and outdoor adventures like boating and fishing.
Islamorada:
Often called the "Sportfishing Capital of the World," Islamorada blends upscale island charm with world-class marinas, great dining, and unforgettable sunset views — all just 90 minutes from Miami.

The sunsets here are spectacular. My favorite places to enjoy them are:
Lorelei restaurant - where there is live music and stunning views over the bay.
Marker 88 - newly remodeled huge tiki bar, great food and live music.
Sunset Lounge - upstairs adults only. The best cocktails and delicious bites.
Founders Park Beach - watch the sunset with your toes in the water, a$$ in the sand.
